Job Summary

We are currently hiring an experienced Forklift Operator for a busy bakery facility in North York(Jane/ Steeles). The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Counterbalance, Walkie, and Double Reach forklifts in a fast-paced, cold storage environment.Must have license for all 3 forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance, Walkie, and Double Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load and unload shipments from trucks and move materials within the warehouse
• Perform order picking and put-away tasks using RF scanners when required
• Transport raw materials and finished products between production and storage areas
• Stack, stage, and organize pallets accurately
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all health & safety and food safety regulations

Requirements

• Must have a Valid license and experience operating all mentioned forklifts(Counterbalance, Walkie, and Double Reach)
• Minimum 2-3 years of forklift experience
• Experience working in a cold or refrigerated environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production/warehouse setting
• Strong attention to safety and accuracy
