Industrial Electrician / Mechanics (Licensed & Unlicensed)

We are looking for an experienced and licensed (442a/309a) & unlicensed industrial Electricians/Mechanics for a reputable food manufacturer located in North York . Please email us your updated resume in PDF or WORD format.

Primary responsibilities:     

• Certified as Electrician with valid Ontario certification (442a or 309a)
• Able  to perform all tasks in a safe, clean and competent manner
• Complete understanding of Canadian electrical codes
• Applicant must have experience with working on hi voltage electrical panels
• Knowledge in the use of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting equipment
• Complete understanding of the proper use of hand tools
• Capable of reading and understanding blueprints, wiring diagrams
• Capable of performing major electrical and minor mechanical tasks shift
• Must be flexible to work afternoon and night shift
• Understand the equipment and its function
• Troubleshoot all mechanical and electrical problems with the equipment and correct them
• If the problem is beyond  capabilities you must call your supervisor immediately so that  he/she can summon the proper resource to correct the problem
• Perform minor and major adjustment to equipment with the least reasonable expected down time
• Perform run and scheduled preventative maintenance of the equipment as per schedule
• Make sure equipment is clean, ready in good working order
• Responsible for all calls over the p.a. system area
• Occasional lift and carry of equipment
• Must fill in reports and work orders done by you during shift and hand in to your supervisor at the end of your shift
