Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Lathe Machine Operator for our client located in Concord. The ideal candidate will have hands-on machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual lathe machines to manufacture and modify metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy.
• Ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Follow company safety policies, GMP, and WSIB regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating manual lathes
• Strong knowledge of machining practices, cutting speeds, and feeds.
• Ability to work from blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in the use of precision measurement instruments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
