Accountant | Manufacturing

Position Details:

A well-established manufacturing facility in Concord is seeking an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of SAGE 300. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and cost-related activities within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting functions including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and month-end/year-end closing activities
• Maintain and update accounting records in SAGE 300
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and inventory accounting
• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues
• Support audits and provide documentation as needed
• Work closely with production and management teams on cost control and financial processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing environment strongly preferred)
• Hands-on experience with SAGE 300 is required
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software
• Experience with cost accounting or inventory accounting is an asset
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
