Position details:
Our client, an automotive manufacturing company in Woodbridge, is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to produce parts to specification, reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work orders, performing inspections with precision measuring tools, making machine adjustments, loading and unloading materials, maintaining production targets, and ensuring a clean and safe work area.
Must have skills and experience:
• Previous CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup and operation
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Automotive manufacturing experience is an asset
